WHATS THE ROLE?

You'll be joining our Debt Capital Markets department within our Group Treasury function, focussing on Zenith's funding strategy. This team plays a crucial role in managing and raising new funding lines to support our evolving business needs.

In the role you'll manage Zenith's debt portfolio, plan and execute debt issuance strategies, engage with potential investors, and interact regularly with our banking partners. You will gain insights into the macroeconomic environment and optimise our cost of funds to meet the strategic needs of the business.

This is a unique opportunity to represent Zenith in supporting our funding plan, enhancing our brand among external stakeholders while diversifying our funding sources. Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to key projects, including our ERP and TMS implementations, rebuilding asset data and securitisation systems, and enhancing modelling capabilities within the treasury team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the delivery of the Group's funding plan, including the preparation and execution of secured debt issuances.
• Analyse the portfolio, reviewing against rating agency criteria to optimise the cost of funds for the Group.
• Assist in the operational setup of new secured debt issuances, encompassing data management and investor reporting.
• Monitor compliance with transaction documentation for the Group's funding facilities.
• Ensure the funding plan is delivered positively, meeting timelines and budgets while adhering to risk appetite.
• Contribute to the development of Zenith's secured debt-raising capabilities, providing in-depth knowledge of assets and funding requirements.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, rating agencies, and legal providers.

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER

We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will have a proactive mindset, with the drive to take ownership of your tasks. You will have:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to accuracy and control
• Experience in regulatory reporting

Although not essential, knowledge of Treasury practices within complex finance environments, and experience in securitisation, particularly with warehouse financing structures would be beneficial.
