Recharge Administrator

Department: Remarketing
Location: Leeds (with agile working options after training)
Reports to: Remarketing Team Leader
Responsible for: Supporting the Damage Recharge function of the Remarketing Team

At Zenith, our Remarketing department is a fast paced, agile and exciting group of people who manage the process of vehicles through the End of Life process and manage damage recharges, following inspection of the vehicle once collected. In this role you build relationships with a lot of internal stakeholders, but also have a touching point with our external auction sites and stakeholders within those businesses. In a world that is constantly changing it's scope, this is a really exciting opportunity to work with a great group of people who are all specialists in their fields. You will take ownership of the inspection documents provided by our inspection sites and ensure all damages are charged back to our drivers, within BVRLA wear and Tear guidelines. This role requires someone with great attention to detail, good written communication, and the ability to forge strong and lasting relationships across the business and the wider pool of external stakeholders. As a specialist in this field, you will work closely with the wider department to ensure we are minimising loss in value from our returned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a consistent and accurate approach to assessing vehicle damage and compiling appraisal recharge invoices.
  • Check and update vehicle records in preparation for publication to our auction provider.
  • Obtain pricing for damaged or missing items.
  • Ensure all damage recharge schedules are completed within customer SLAs and auction deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate damage waiver allowance records and ensure the correct waivers are applied.
  • Collaborate closely with de-fleet partners to resolve any issues arising through the preparation process.
  • Manage customer queries and complaints to reach satisfactory resolutions.
  • Obtain service record information from third parties where necessary.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain the Remarketing inbox.
  • Play an active role in answering incoming calls.
  • Support the Remarketing Team throughout the entire remarketing process.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Experience in handling customer queries and complaints.
  • Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated with a positive ‘can-do' attitude.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer liaison or a similar administrative role.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional approach.
