We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Procurement Team on a 14-month fixed term contract. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll lead procurement activities across multiple spend categories, ensuring value for money, supplier performance and effective contract management. You'll play a key role in supporting business objectives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, commercial risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT'S THE ROLE

This is far more than a traditional procurement role. You'll have the opportunity to influence purchasing decisions across a diverse and growing organisation, partnering with senior stakeholders while helping shape Zenith's procurement strategy and governance. You'll gain broad exposure across strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management, cost optimisation and procurement transformation projects.

Whether your background is in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing or category management, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact across the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end procurement activities across multiple spend categories.
• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value and operational efficiencies.
• Managing tender processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations and contract awards.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and procurement priorities.
• Driving supplier performance management activities and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Identifying, assessing and mitigating commercial and supply chain risks.
• Supporting contract management activities to ensure suppliers deliver against agreed commitments and service levels.
• Delivering cost-saving and value creation initiatives across the business.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks and contractual obligations.
• Supporting wider business projects and contributing to the ongoing development of procurement best practice.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Proven experience in a Procurement Manager, Category Manager or Strategic Sourcing role.
• Experience leading complex sourcing and supplier negotiation activities.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver measurable savings and value outcomes.
• Experience managing contracts and supplier performance across multiple categories.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Experience working within a fast-paced, commercially focused organisation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Understanding of procurement governance, risk management and contractual compliance.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.

Desirable Experience

• Procurement experience within the IT category, including hardware, software, telecommunications and technology services.
• Procurement experience in vehicle-related services or transport solutions in the car, van and HGV category.
• Knowledge of fleet, automotive or mobility-related industries.
• Experience supporting procurement transformation, systems implementation or process improvement initiatives.
