Fleet Administrator

Location: Altrincham
Department: Commercial Fleet Operations

Are you someone who thrives on multitasking and working within a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a sharp, proactive Fleet Administrator to join our Commercial Fleet team at our Altrincham office near Manchester.

In this role, you are the heartbeat of our fleet's efficiency. You'll be the bridge between our suppliers and customers, chasing defects and managing repairs to ensure vehicle downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.

What you'll be doing:

  • The Chase: Proactively tracking defects via our nationwide supplier network, challenging timelines to get vehicles back on the road ASAP.
  • Problem Solving: Sourcing alternative parts when delays hit and escalating issues to the Fleet Controllers to keep things moving.
  • The Hub: Managing high-volume calls and emails from customers and suppliers, ensuring our SQL database is updated with pinpoint accuracy.
  • Support: Jumping in to assist the breakdown team with roadside emergencies and resolving disputes with a professional, solution-oriented mindset.

What we're looking for:

  • Communication Pros: You'll need top-tier verbal and written skills. You're comfortable on the phone and even better at managing expectations.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and comfortable using database systems like SQL.
  • Pressure Players: You can self-manage in a busy environment, staying organised when the pace picks up.
  • Experience: While LCV/HGV industry knowledge is a massive plus, we really value proven experience in a demanding, fast-paced admin or customer service role.
