Financial Reporting Manager - 12 month FTC

At Zenith, we've been leading the transition to sustainable vehicle solutions for over 30 years. As the UK's largest independent vehicle solutions provider, we're proud of our people, our award‑winning service, and our bold ambitions to make mobility smarter, greener and better for everyone. We're powered by people, driven by innovation, and committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

We're looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, covering a critical interim requirement during an exciting period of growth and transformation. As a result, we're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who are available immediately or able to start quickly.

This is a high‑profile, hands‑on leadership role offering real ownership and influence. You'll take full accountability for month‑end delivery, reporting accuracy and financial control across our Consumer & Corporate divisions. You'll lead a team of Management Accountants and shape how management accounts are produced, strengthen controls, improve processes and ensure finance continues to deliver reliable insight at pace.

The role offers strong visibility with senior leadership, including close collaboration with FP&A, Finance Leadership and wider business stakeholders, making it ideal for someone who enjoys accountability, influence and being trusted to deliver. You'll play a key role in audits, finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to modernise reporting, embed better governance and leave a lasting impact on the function.

What's the Role

  • Lead and develop a Management Accounts team, embedding strong, robust processes and controls to meet reporting deadlines
  • Own the preparation and presentation of accurate, timely divisional management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) in line with FRS 102
  • Lead monthly P&L performance reviews with senior management and FP&A, providing clear variance analysis and insight
  • Act as a key point of contact for Finance Transformation initiatives, embedding new processes, systems and governance frameworks
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, automate and continuously improve reporting and control processes
  • Manage interim and year‑end audits, acting as a key finance contact and providing analysis and explanations as required
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and reviewed in line with group deadlines
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required, working closely with FP&A and wider finance teams

What Can You Offer

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting, ideally within a multi‑divisional or complex organisation
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing a team of accountants
  • Strong financial control mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and explain financial performance clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Confidence operating in audit‑heavy and controls‑focused environments
  • A proactive, solution‑focused approach to improving processes and ways of working
  • Strong organisational, planning and communication skills

  • £5,250 car allowance and annual bonus
  • 24 days annual leave plus your birthday off, with the option to buy more
