Finance Manager - FP&A

As Finance Manager, you'll lead the accurate and timely delivery of financial budgets and forecasts, provide commercial analysis and reporting, and identify trends and profit opportunities. You'll collaborate with senior leaders to influence strategic decisions and ensure robust financial planning across the business.

You'll join a team of around 100 finance professionals in a fast-paced, vehicle leasing group with five divisional areas. Based in Leeds, you'll work in an agile way, balancing remote working with on-site collaboration to deliver exceptional results.

 

What's the Role

  • Lead the delivery of accurate and reliable financial budgets and forecasts for your area of focus
  • Provide commercial analysis and reporting, identifying trends and evaluating profit opportunities
  • Produce insightful reports for senior leadership, including sensitivity analysis and recommendations
  • Work with divisional teams to ensure budgets reflect changing business needs and KPIs
  • Track monthly performance against plans, identifying risks and opportunities and driving actions
  • Act as the expert for your area, providing analysis and insight to hold the business accountable
  • Deputise for the Head of FP&A when required

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex data
  • Commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel (lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Experience in financial reporting and modelling within a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to identify risks and take effective action promptly
  • Confident decision-maker with sound judgment and problem-solving ability
