Business Development Manager
Zenith is the UK's leading independent leasing, fleet management and vehicle outsourcing business and we are growing FAST!
Our focused team work hard to sell Zenith's solution-based contract hire, salary sacrifice, fleet management and leasing packages to existing and new customers in a B2B environment, for businesses who operate fleets of up to 600 vehicles on a sole supply basis. All this whilst offering excellent customer service and operating as an ambassador for our fantastic Zenith brand.
The Role:
As part of our 50+ strong Corporate Commercial team, and reporting directly into the Corporate Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and successfully securing new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identifying and seeking out new business opportunities and demonstrating excellent presentation skills when selling the Company's key features and benefits to secure new customers.
- Being an expert in your field; continually keeping up to date with industry topics, trends and products so as to best advice customers leading to successful conclusions for Zenith.
- Making accurate cost calculations and providing customers with detailed quotations when required; outstanding customer service is paramount.
- Negotiating terms of agreement and demonstrating the ability to close sales successfully.
- Ensuring the smooth progression of the sale through to delivery.
- Ensuring excellent account management skills are delivered to the Company's customer base both new and existing.
- Ensure the implementation of new business wins are processed in a timely and professional manner, both internally and externally to a successful conclusion.
- Ensuring monthly, quarterly and yearly Company targets are achieved and where possible exceeded.
- Travel and overnight stays as the needs of the business dictates.

Skills and Experience:
- You will have a really detailed understanding of the leasing/fleet sector
- Clear and demonstrable Business Development experience
- High level of communication, inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence to engage multiple stakeholders at multiple levels effectively
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively close sales successfully
- Ability to challenge confidently and constructively at all levels, often thinking on your feet
- Experience of producing reports and confidently presenting at key committees/board
